Q990C is generally a good soundbar system. I think the sub could be better. It's too bad Samsung doesn't offer an upgraded sub to work with the system. At lower volumes, the sound is clean. If you turn it up past around 30, the sound gets muddier and clarity suffers especially with music. I have an issue with my Apple TV streaming box where, at start up, the Q990C hunts between my HDMI 2 (Apple TV) and eARC soundbar/TV cable. Very annoying. I'm still tracking down a fix for that. Once it decides the HDMI 2 is the proper source cable, it's fine. I have had better audio systems in the past but, for a soundbar and at the Q990C price point, this is a good set up. Fantastic job explaining everything! I’m just now unboxing mine after having it for 3 years. Surprisingly, the battery shows 12.77 volts. I’m going to put it on a charger anyway. Thanks for the advice.

Amazing revive. Trying to decide between Sony AvR and Samsung soundbar. How do you like your Samsung for non Atmos music listening?

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it shocks you when it gets angry, paid £850 which i thought wasn’t to bad a deal.

If the sound didn't increase or get better why update it. If it already sounds good and your getting great sound. My advice just leave it.

The last time I heard that sound, I was in 3rd grade. This video just pulled me back into that time!

I recently purchased a new Epson Eco Tank 3850 printer at Costco for $325.00. The setup was relatively easy and I had it up and running in about 15 minutes after unboxing. However, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the printing for both documents and photos.The edging in the photos were grainy and the colors were darker then the original photos. I reset the color management and it still produced a low quality image. The scanner is also cheap inefficient. After scanning a simple document I discovered the text had jagged edges and the tops of the fonts in some sentences were chopped off. The only way I could get nice sharp fonts in a document was to scan in Photo Mode. The top automatic feeder which is used to scan multiple documents or make copies, pulls the entire stack of papers into the feeder all at once. I had to physically stagger each page individually to prevent the stack from jamming the feeder. All in all this printer is constructed of poor quality materials and is cheaply made. Thank God I saved the box. I'm packaging it back up and taking it back to Costco first thing tomorrow.

When I watch Disney+ or some RUclips videos from the tv app I get bad sound but when I fire up the apps on the ps4 everything works very well. Which makes no sense to me as the ps4 is connected to the tv and only from the tv goes the cable to the soundbar

I never used that teflon tape on mine and I use natural gas too. No leaks. Not sure if it is really necessary. I disconnect my hose after each use.

Had mine for 1/2 year. Works great for charging cell phones and such. Power went out and it ran my big Sony TV for quite awhile. Can’t beat the price.

I have the Q990D, absolutely amazing for a soundbar system. The 2.1 eARC connection works very good with my PC where i have my movies. Games also got more immersive with this system, just sit back on my couch with a controller and it has no issues playing 4k @120hz on my 65" tv. I absolutely love that there is no need for extra wiring, the wireless setup is so much cleaner. Best buy i've made in a long time. I bought the Q990D because of the 2.1 eARC connection because i always use my computer as a media box and game device. If you don't have a Console or PC connected to your TV, you don't really need this version. The sound system itself is the same as the Q990C with the exception the HDMI 2.1 eARC and 2 settings in your app (private mode and something else). So, if you want it purely for playing Blu-Ray or TV/Streaming - go for the Q990C which is a lot cheaper. PC user? Gamer? Get the Q990D So you can get that 4k @ 120hz or 8k @ 60Hz with Dolby Atmos or other Dolby supported formats when passing through the soundbar.

Folks quick question: Does the Q900c support Wireless Dolby Atmos with Samsung 6 Series smart TVs? I am confused. How can I check that? I feel no difference in playing audio from RUclips vs Netflix. Unfortunately, eARC won't support my TV (strangely) and hoping this 1004 update fixes it. Please Advice. Thanks.

Our SN bed is 31 years old, the salesman told us 31 years ago that this is the last bed we would ever need to by the rest of our lives!! Well he was right!! Still sleeping on our SN bed and we are now in our 80's. I have added a 3 inch memory foam topper and it sleeps like a dream. Only bed we will ever need as the smart salesman said!!

firmware update unfortunately won't raise the power of the speakers as they are reliant on the max power budget of the amplifier in each speaker box. what they improved with that patch is the connection stability to smartthings app, as it would lose connection or went offline time to time and some had to factory reset to re-connect. no other changes

I have the cheaper ET-2800 and working OK. I do not do not print daily. With Inkjet printers if idle for some time can get clogging of print heads and the machines do a clean cycle periodically to fight this. The Eco tank printers have longer path for ink to travel to the print head so increased of clogging of this lines as well. They have a storage box for the waste ink that needs to be changed but related to how long one has the printer. When this needs maintenance I will likely recycle and buy another printer. Some reviews talk about the autofeed of documents malfunctioning. How has it worked for you? Thanks for the video!

Thanks for this in-depth review. I'm looking to buy a soundbar myself. And i've narrowed it down to the Samsung Q990D and the Sonos Arc with sub and Era 300's. And while you say, aside from music the Samsung is better everywhere, others say the Sonos is the way to go. So i'm having a real hard time to decide which soundbar it's gonna be. But your videos were really informative, so again, thanks for that!

Great soundbar I just received mine. I have found this. When usisin 2HDMI ports. 1 via arc from the Tv. And HDMI 1 port for the uhd player. There is no sound at all. The correct input mode was selected on the soundbar. Unless I disconnect one of the HDMI cable. Is that something can be corrected somehow? Or 2 HDMI port can't be used at the same time?

Looks a bit uncomfortable to use - I was going to buy this due to the safety features but it might be too safe! Perhaps they should have made the rear button bigger so it's easier to trigger but still child and accident safe.
